Notes

If you'd like to make ahead for meal prep, the cooked meatballs store well in the fridge in an air tight container for a few days.

You can freeze the raw meatballs by placing the raw balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freezing for about 2 hours until they are frozen through. Once frozen, you can place them in a disposable freezer bag, and stored for up to 3 months. To cook them later, thaw in fridge overnight and then bake per directions above.

To freeze the cooked meatballs, allow them to completely cool and then place in a freezer safe container or disposable storage bag and freeze for up to 3 months. They can be warmed in the microwave, oven or air fryer until heated all the way through (165°F).
